I Heard It!
It was a night I never expected,
To be graced with a voice so angelic.
The symphony of its composure,
Was nothing my soul was ever prepared for.
A voice that shocked my spirit back to the heart of its origin.
So pure the melody of its tenor cascading.
Like water, like rain, like a warm liquid,
Poured out upon every fibre of my existence from head to toe;
A warm sensation that is so arousing and stimulating,
To every nerve, through every vein;
Cutting so deep, right down to the bone and marrow.
Her voice, her sounds, seemed like songs of moans in my ear,
A whisper of love...
A love letter telling me she truly cares.
The way she sang the lyrics so honest,
So raw, so pure, so innocent, so true.
Made parts of my body do things I never expected them to do.
And to answer your question,
"No, I would never let you down.
I do not want to lose you.
I do not want to hurt you."
An angel was meant to keep her abode in the heavens,
But if ever you should visit me, my darling,
Before your feet would touch the carnal surface of this earth,
I would have lassoed every cloud from the sky,
Placing them like carpets beneath your glory,
To keep this fantasy alive where you, my angel,
Would feel you're still floating exactly where you belong,
On clouds of heavenly bliss with kisses from my lips.
I could never picture myself hurting you.
You deserve the pedestal of stars in the heavenly galaxies,
Your crown would be the belt of Orion's,
That's how much you mean to me.
Can you now truly see it?
It was this night I never would have expected.
It was this night my heart was heavy with sorrow and pain.
But your voice...
That tune, your whisper... Yes, your song, my love,
Changed the way I felt; gave me new meaning.
My heart pulsed new, fresh blood,
That seemed to revitalize and heal
Every illness, hurt, and pain within.
Every thing I felt that night...
Things considered the opposite of Joy, Hope, and Happiness...
The sounds of your love welled up within me a sense;
A knowing, that everything was going to be alright.
I'm in love with, "An Angel's Whisper".

I was inspired last night to write this piece. This prose is dedicated to someone who means a lot to me. You know who you are. Thanks for being there always!
