"DREAMER. ACHIEVER. MOTIVATOR."
Anthony Arnold, born in Tampa, and raised by his grandmother in a little town called Quincy, in the Florida Panhandle, wrote his first piece in the third grade and fell in love with writing ever since that moment.
"I wrote my first poem for a classmate, who had passed away."Anthony tells us that, 'writing has become a comfort, a mainstay in keeping him focused.'
His motivation for writing began in his Biology class in high school. Author Robinson's preferred genre is poetry. The Author is currently working on his second and third poetry book manuscripts.
Anthony disclosed, after his divorce in 2011, that's when he began truly writing, which started with Romance Poetry that eventually evolved into History as time went on. Anthony has been writing continuously ever since.
We asked Anthony what his prefered genre in his craft was, but he did not rely on a specific one. "I write what I feel, although tending to lean towards more history it seems." Anthony described his poetry in three words as, "Sad, Eye-Opening, Representing the Ancestors."
Currently this Author is not working on any new projects but, "At the first of the year, I will restart the work on my detective book, which is a working title called: "Death Comes Walking." Hopefully it will be finished by late summer."
Anthony is a fan of the Authors such as: Clive Cussler, James Patterson, to name a few. But he could not answer if they were really the inspirations that initiated his writing. His current book, "To Live and Die in Amerikkka," is based on "History, Life, and Struggle," and can be found in paperback and e-book format on Amazon. You can also find this book and more on his website at: AuthorAnthonyArnold.com. (Visitors and fans can also get autographed copies from the website as well)
Although occasionally posting on Facebook under his handle: 'AATheTigersDen', one can also follow him on his blog: Musings of Anthony Arnold @ Wordpress
After reading this Author's sensational book, to which was an "Eye-Opener" indeed, I asked Anthony what was the message he wanted his readers to 'take-away' and grasp the most.
"For readers to see what we go through on a daily basis. To understand the resilience of our people, though it seem things are stacked against us..."Wow! Deep!
Before wrapping up this interview with Anthony, we asked if he had any last words for his audience out there. "I would love to tell my audience and fans to never let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do. You can do whatever you feel, dream, and believe you can do. Just stay true."
We thank you Anthony for giving us this wonderful opportunity to learn about the person behind the pages.
Best Regards,
